This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through dentourism.com (the “Site”) and our scheduling and communication processes, how we use it, and the choices you have — including with respect to text message (SMS) communications.

By using the Site or providing your information to us (including through our Scheduling page), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

  • Treatment and scheduling information, such as the dental services you’re interested in, preferred appointment dates, and travel/lodging preferences.

We do not collect any information through the Site that we do not need to provide our services to you.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Communications

If you provide your mobile phone number and affirmatively opt in (for example, by checking the consent box on our Scheduling page), DenTourism may send you text messages related to appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and follow-up communications regarding your dental treatment and travel arrangements.

  • Consent is optional. Text messaging consent is never required as a condition of booking a consultation or receiving treatment from DenTourism.

  • Message frequency varies depending on your scheduling activity.

  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

  • Opt-out: You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, we will send one final confirmation message, and you will not receive further texts unless you opt in again.

  • No sharing of opt-in data. Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in/consent status will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstances. This is true even if our broader data- sharing practices described in Section 4 apply to other types of information. We may share this information only with service providers who help us operate our text messaging program (such as our SMS platform provider), and only to the extent necessary to deliver messages on our behalf, subject to confidentiality obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

Other than as described in Section 3 above regarding SMS opt-in data, we may share your information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate our business (e.g., website hosting, email and scheduling tools, payment processors), who are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.

  • Dental and travel partners directly involved in coordinating your treatment, lodging, or transportation, as needed to provide the services you’ve requested.

  • Legal and safety purposes, where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DenTourism, our patients, or others.

  • Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

DenTourism’s dental facility is located in Los Algodones, Mexico, and serves patients primarily from the United States. Information you provide may be processed or stored in both the United States and Mexico in connection with scheduling your treatment.

Our Site and services are intended for adults seeking dental treatment and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
